Features and Options

There are many different options or features that fall under each truck category. With still more accessories or additions depending on the area of truck you are looking at. So without being able to list each truck category and its features lets look at the basics in the most common box truck category.
Other than the cargo area the next biggest consideration is the engine. For this the two things too consider are whether you want diesel or gasoline. Most trucks use diesel especially the higher in weight you go.
Diesel engines have more power at lower RPM’s meaning you get a quicker and easier start from a standstill. Diesel engines also run cooler and are durable with stronger components than gasoline engines, giving a longevity than gasoline engines don’t have.
Running costs of trucks hinge mostly if not completely on price of fuel. Currently they are both at an all time high. Although diesel provides better mileage than gas, they can still be a higher initial cost.
The main factor in looking at engines is what type of fuel you are currently mostly using, this simplifies maintenance and fuel storage needs.
