Hosted by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) in Atlanta, this years Work Truck Show was a big success say organizers. The show was attended by 7,200 people last month and attracted a record 538 exhibitors to the expanded show. Held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta the trade show consisted of educational seminars with a particular focus on hybrid trucks and alternative fuels. Garnering interest in the new and used truck market, fleet managers, truck equipment distributors and upfitters, manufacturers and used truck traders were all there to see the latest in line. Covering more than 450,000 sq ft of floor space the show according to organizers was filled with nearly 90% of fleet representatives with final purchasing authority.

NTEA executive Jim Carney said, “The Work Truck Show 2008 was a great success, it is a testament to the effectiveness of the event that demand for exhibit space at the show for 2009 is incredibly high.” New and used truck traders are indeed getting ready for the 2009 show with exhibit space selling rapidly.
