Renault Trucks Opening Sites In France 13/03/2008 Renault Trucks have been given the green light for two new sites in France catering for light commercial vehicles. The new sites will be representing the Fast & Pro concept that Renault Trucks have been developing which is targeting maintenance and repair of light commercial vehicles. The Renault Trucks Fast & Pro idea is a title awarded to repair shops that have been approved to pass certain criteria and conditions of service and professionalism. The centers will represent Renault Trucks with their customer service, personalized high-performance and technical skill and tooling. One of the new Fast & Pro technical center in Corbas, near Lyon is going to be served by a team of 10 people and an investment of over 1.5million Euro. The large investment by Renault Trucks will make the Fast & Pro center one of the biggest in Europe, and will have a showroom, reception areas, and workshop and storeroom. Renault Trucks hope the center will be able to handle upto 400 vehicles by the end of 2008, increasing to 1,000 vehicles per year within 3 years. The workshop will have 5 work bays and 2 four-column vehicle lifts, and diagnostic sets, and wheel balancing and all the tooling needed for light commercial vehicles. As well as the Corbas site, there will be another one in Merignac near Bordeaux which is still undergoing renovation with an investment of 2.3 million Euro for the renovation. Renault Trucks hope this will push them to be the best company to serve Europe in the light commercial vehicle division with local service. The two sites that both underwent development and renovation in 2006 will be further proof of Renaults commitment and investment in its homeland of Europe. |
